Project Workbook: Nebraska Indian Community College

The natural landscape offers recreational benefits to people in the local community. A natural prairie landscape provides healthy wildlife for hunting and fishing. Another recreational activity is to enjoy viewing indigenous wildlife and plant species while hiking through the restored prairie landscape. The restored prairie landscape also may serve as an outdoor learning facility for the college. The students will benefit by learning more about nature, ecology, and wildlife management while the college benefits by gaining extra help and viability within the local community.
