Here are some pictures from a field trip that I took my dual credit Biology students on down to Sitting Bull College. Linda Jones is the women in the photograph. She works for SBC in student services and also teaches in the English department and Ethnobotany. The man in the photograph is Jeremy Guinn, a teacher in Environmental Science at SBC. My students are Houston Kirkaldie (in the red) and Coulee Fox (in the black). That day we went to the marina and Linda pointed out a variety of plants and told us their ethnobotanical uses (Lakota uses and names).
